Held weekly on Tuesday mornings at Maccabi Youth & Sports Hall in Giffnock, Move It or Lose It! is an exercise class with a difference for over 60s!

About Move It or Lose It East Renfrewshire

‘Move It or Lose It’ classes combine the four essential components for health and well being as recommended by the Chief Medical Officer’s and N.I.C.E. guidelines for the over 60's - Flexibility, Aerobic, Balance and Strength - FABS!

The FABS program is supported by the Centre for Healthy Ageing Research at the University of Birmingham and improves lives through practical, functional training for older adults.

Classes are suitable for a variety of participants with fully seated, standing with chair support and fully standing options throughout.

These carefully designed classes can help older adults maintain independence and autonomy, keep healthy for the activities they love and continue to have and share experiences with the world.
