The gardens are also home to several glasshouses, the most notable of which is the Kibble Palace, a Victorian glasshouse that was built in 1873. The Kibble Palace houses a collection of tropical plants, including orchids, palms, and ferns.

In addition to its plant collections, the gardens also offer a variety of educational and cultural events, including guided tours, lectures, and concerts. The gardens are a popular tourist destination and are also a popular spot for locals to relax and enjoy the outdoors.
