And that’s not all — for the first time ever, the 1996 classic Twister will also twirl its way onto the big screen exclusively in Cineworld’s multisensory 4DX. Both titles will be showing in 4DX from September 20th.
Fans of these storm-chasing sensations are in for a double delight as both films promise to deliver an immersive cinematic experience like no other. With 4DX technology, viewers will be swept into the heart of the action, feeling every twist and turn of the tornadoes with motion seats and wind, water, rain, lightning, and fog effects, making it feel like you’re in the eye of the storm.
Bobbie Andrews Managing Director of CJ 4DPLEX EMEA, the company behind the 4DX format, said: “The response to Twisters in 4DX has been phenomenal, creating a perfect storm of audience enthusiasm and setting records in the format. We’re thrilled that due to Twisters’ success, moviegoers can now experience the original Twister in 4DX for the first time ever, offering the most premium and dynamic experience, which is something you can’t replicate at home.”
The demand for Twisters in 4DX has been echoed by Cineworld customers on social media:
"Honestly, I’m gonna need y'all to bring it back at least once a month - I’m addicted."
"I would love to go to another 4DX showing of Twisters with some peeps who haven’t seen it yet. So hopefully you can send the tornadoes back through 4DX."
"Just watched Twisters in 4DX @Cineworld, one of the best films I’ve watched for years... That good, we’re going back for a second time!"
Experience the Storms:
• Wind: Feel the powerful gusts as the tornadoes rip through the landscape.
• Water and Rain: Experience the rain and splashes as characters chase the storms.
• Motion: Be tossed and turned with every twister, mimicking the movement of the tornadoes.
• Fog: Enter the hazy atmosphere that surrounds these massive storms.
• Lightning: Witness the dazzling flashes of lightning illuminating the sky.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to experience both Twisters and Twister in 4DX cinemas nationwide from September 20th.
Customers are advised to book their 4DX tickets in advance to avoid disappointment at cineworld.com/4DX or using the Cineworld app.
