Scottish comedy legend Janey Godley will return to the theatre with Janey: On Screen and On Stage next month, while the Giffnock theatre has added another Evening with Martin O'Neill, after the first event sold out. Sex Pistols frontman John Lydon brings another sold-out show, with I Could be Wrong, I Could be Right, to the theatre in June, with ABC frontman lined up for An Intimate Evening With Martin Fry in the autumn. Sold-out show An Audience with Neil Lennon is scheduled for October, before the Queen of the West End, Kerry Ellis, takes to the stage in November.
As part of the theatre's Scotland Inspires series, leading social entrepreneur, Sunday Times best-selling author and homeless campaigner Dr Josh Littlejohn MBE, who founded charities the Social Bite and the World's Big Sleep Out, will talk about his life and career in April. Bestselling author and 'kindness scientist', Dr David Hamilton, will discuss his inspirational practice and answer audience questions at the Scotland Inspires event in September.

Following our phenomenal 50th anniversary year, we are continuing to strengthen our offering for the local community and have already hosted several sell-out shows and screenings this year.

May highlights include the UK's largest swinging band Down for the Count Orchestra, back by popular demand, who will celebrate a century of swing with audiences, while Back to Bacharach returns to the theatre to celebrate the timeless masterpiece of Burt Bacharach. Jack Docherty, the BAFTA award-winning star of Scot Squad and Absolutely, is bringing critically-acclaimed comedy show David Bowie and Me to the theatre as part of its tour. Janey Godley returns to Eastwood Park Theatre for an acclaimed new feature film centred around her life story, followed by a live-stand up show. Comedy from The Scottish Comedians also takes to the stage in May, featuring BBC Scotland's Breaking the News' Des Clarke and Stuart Mitchell, supported by award-winning comedian Billy Kirkwood. Beatles fans can enjoy an evening of pure nostalgia with critically-acclaimed tribute show, Just Beatles. The month also features a range of cinema screenings, including The Royal Ballet's The Winter's Tale, a cinema screening of Titanic the Musical and Big Banana Feet, the long lost film of Billy Connolly's 1975 tour of Ireland.
Country fans are given a taste of Nashville in June, with Soul Street Productions' Made in Tennessee - A Night of Country Music, taking the audience through the decades of the nation's fastest growing music genre. Family shows are also lined up to keep the kids entertained, including Apple 'N' Spice, inspired by the stories of Ramayana and Snow White, while Artie's Singing Kettle returns to the theatre for three Greatest Hits shows at the end of June. Dinosaur Adventure Live comes to the theatre to keep the kids entertained at the end of the summer holidays.
The autumn season kicks off with comedy show Bahookie from Breaking the News Star Jay Lafferty, while award-winning travel writer, public speaker and filmmaker Simon Parker's show A Race Across America: Countdown to the 2024 Presidential Election comes in October. Celtic legend Neil Lennon will reflect on career highs and lows and participate in an audience Q&A at a sold out show, while ABC frontman Martin Fry will bring an evening of stripped-back music and conversation as part of his intimate tour of the UK. The Forgotten Apple family show, featuring storytelling, music and Scot's ballads, comes to Netherlee Pavilion during the October school holidays.
