Williamwood High School took the winning trophy for the second year in a row at the event, organised by East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure's dedicated Active Schools team.
Professional basketball player and Commonwealth Games athlete Fraser Malcolm, who plays for the Caledonia Gladiators, opened the games, which featured a full day of competitive sports, including rugby, basketball, football, tennis, hockey, table tennis and boccia.
Anthony McReavy from East Renfrewshire Culture and Leisure said: “We welcomed over 350 pupils from S1-S3 for an unforgettable day at this year's East Renfrewshire Secondary Games.
“We want to congratulate all the young people who participated from each high school for their efforts, determination, teamwork and sporting abilities. Well done to Williamwood High School, who took home the trophy this year after an excellent performance across all sports.”
Gary McGunnigle, Active Schools team leader, added: “East Renfrewshire Secondary Games has become one of the most prominent days in our programme of events which runs throughout the year. It is fantastic to see young people in East Renfrewshire developing their skills, excelling at sport and enjoying themselves.
“Congratulations to all of the pupils who participated and thanks to all our sports club partners, Clarkston Tennis, Giffnock Hockey, Whitecraigs Rugby and Scottish Disability Sport (SDS). We'd also like to thank school staff and our pupil volunteers from Williamwood, St. Luke's and Barrhead high schools, who made the event so successful along with our Active Schools and Sports Development teams.”
The events took place at three locations across East Renfrewshire culminating in the winning schools' ceremony, which was hosted at Williamwood High School.
