Burnfield Care Home
About Burnfield Care Home
Burnfield is a modern, purpose-built Nursing Home, registered with the Care Inspectorate in Scotland to provide residential or nursing care for up to 40 frail, elderly Residents.
First opened by Newark Care in March 2003,
Burnfield was built to enable older people of the Jewish faith to receive care and support consistent with their assessed needs in a comfortable home environment. Today we welcome applications from people of all faiths and of none, from all walks of life and with many different needs.
The Home seeks to provide the highest standard of care and accommodation. Registered nursing staff and qualified carers are on duty 24 hours a day providing care and support.
Burnfield is located in Giffnock, the residential suburb on the south side of Glasgow. Giffnock has a variety of local shops and restaurants and Silverburn Shopping Centre is a short drive away. Giffnock railway station, on the East Kilbride line from Glasgow Central, is within walking distance of the Home. The 38 and 38a bus services run regularly along Fenwick Road close by. Access to the M77 is nearby via Junction 3.
