This is an informal, fun and free workshop that aims to increase your understanding of local species and improve your ability to identify them. This workshop is aimed at complete beginners, so don't worry if you're completely new to identifying trees.
We will also plant 40 oak trees in Busby Glen. These will replace recently felled ash trees that were suffering from ash dieback.
This is part of a project in partnership with East Renfrewshire Council to plant 10,000 trees across the council district by the end of March 2025.
Tools and training will be provided. No experience required.
Bring warm, waterproof clothes and sturdy footwear.
Tea and Coffee will be provided.
