Restart a Heart (RSAH) is an annual initiative led by Resuscitation Council UK which aims to increase the number of people surviving out-of-hospital cardiac arrests by helping more people learn CPR.
To support the “Restart a Heart” month in East Renfrewshire, you can attend training provided by the Community Action Team at the dates and times below:
> Barrhead Community Fire station – 22/10/24 at 10:30am – 12:30pm
> Clarkston Community Fire station – 22/10/24 at 2:00pm – 4:00pm
These are FREE sessions, open to all.
Thanks to our local Fire Service for offering this life saving training to local people.
With over 3,000 out of hospital cardiac arrests in Scotland in one year, CPR (cardiopulmonary resuscitation) and defibrillator use can save lives.
Most out-of-hospital cardiac arrests occur in people’s own homes so this training is really important and might help you save the life of a family member.
Where possible we will update our listings to notify of cancelled, postponed and rescheduled events, however we STRONGLY ADVISE that you check with the venue/organiser in the first instance for updates.
