Live Fire Cooking Class! We are delighted to welcome Chef Adam Purnell better known as The Shropshire Lad to our Live Fire Cooking Events on the 30th and 31st of May. Adam Purnell will be joining us in Scotland for the first time from Shropshire to showcase different local dishes cooked over live fire!

The perfect opportunity to cook alongside the Shropshire Lad and master your outdoor cooking!

FOOD & DRINK
At Auldton Stoves we try and keep produce as local as possible. Nothing better than to be eating food you know has been grown, reared, butchered and cooked within a 10 mile radius! We will be using produce from Auldton Farm as much as possible if in season and local farms around us. Below is a sample menu of what type of things to expect. Subject to change.

WHATS INCLUDED
Learn new techniques and recipes with Adam Purnell (Shropshire Lad). Hands on cooking experience using the newest season premium grills. Kamado Joe’s, Gozney Pizza Ovens, Traeger Smokers etc. This event will give you confidence to go home and cook up a storm! Obviously you will be eating the food you are cooking… with a drink in hand. This event is ideal for beginners and experts alike.

TRAVEL & LOCATION
Live Fire Cook Schools will be happening at our purpose built outdoor Cook School Area located at the Auldton Stoves Showroom. Auldton Stoves Ltd, Auldton Farm, Lugton Road, Dunlop, KA3 4DR (25mins from Glasgow and 25min Ayr). The new Cook School Area offers a covered outdoor patio meaning we will survive the Scottish Weather! We will also have indoor space if required.

For those travelling that want a drink we are accessible via train (Dunlop Station - Glasgow to Kilmarnock Line) and bus (Lugton Road). We are within walking distance to Dunlop Station (1.1mi) or can uplift from the station if pre-organised.

If you are travelling from a distance don’t worry. We can organise your stay at our local Country Club and Spa with special rates. Please organise this through our office. 01560 480002. You might even catch a drink with the gust chef!

ABOUT ADAM PURNELL
Adam Purnell is a self taught chef who originally took inspiration from his father creating new exciting dishes to cook on the grill while fishing. His passion for live fire cooking has lead to him becoming a well known face on TV, Social Media Platforms and the Wider BBQ Community. It all started in 2017 and quickly his passion for cooking has lead to a full time career. He is now a recognised live fire chef nationally making many TV appearances. His style of cooking is refreshing… stop messing about! He takes the best ingredients available, allows himself to play with bold, natural flavours and introduces them to a little thing called FIRE!
