We have an array of activities and festive fun on offer over 6 weeks to suit all of the family.
Get in the festive spirit and join in with our #DundeeKindness theme, come along and take part in some or all of the free events. Starting with Christmas Trees - our very own living tree will be illuminated, and will be joined by five designed interpretations of a tree - working with UNESCO City of Design and V&A Dundee.
Making a welcome return is the Dundee WinterFest with its market, ice rink, food trucks, kiddies rides, big wheel and bar.
The #DundeeKindness Exhibition will return to the city centre celebrating 18 local people or organisations and their kindness to those around them through an exhibition. Also available to view online.
Coinciding with the #DundeeKindness Exhibition long weekend is the Dundee Hooley, with the Dundee Hooley Parade, not just for spectators as we welcome you to come along and be part of the parade. The evening finale will be a fantastic ceilidh for all to JOIN IN, dance your socks off and have a right 'Dundee Hooley'.
Christmas in Dundee will also bring a full programme of installations, activities and entertainment. We will welcome back Pingoo, the Wishing Fountains and the Dundee Christmas Card. You can enjoy the activity tent with letter writing to Santa, a Christmas themed crafts workshop programme and an immersive Christmas installation. Or, you can lose yourself in the Insta-friendly Heofon maze - lit up at night or catching the sun during the day, it's a beautiful place to wander. You can also play an end of curling on the curling lanes with your friends. And if that's not enough there will be live music on stage on Thursdays, choirs on Sundays, and street performers at weekends.
