Acumen Network have teamed up with Pulse Radio to present 'Mental Health on Air', a new weekly radio show discussing mental health and wellbeing to the local area.

In conjunction with Acumen Network and Pulse Radio, Mental Health on Air provides the perfect platform for an open and diverse discussion on all topics related to mental health and wellbeing.
Acumen Network is a service user and carers network of individuals with a lived experience of mental ill health and we work to bring them together to voice how they would like services to be delivered.
Working closely with Pulse Radio we have now devised a programme of shows that are suitable for all whether you are experiencing psychological distress, are a carer, a friend or a relative of someone whom is experiencing a period of mental ill health - we are sure you will find a topic of interest here.
Along with our open and friendly discussions, we also provide a host of useful information on topics ranging from recovery, relationships, addictions, suicide and self harm to more practical topics such as self management and advanced statements.
We are also always keen to hear the inspirational stories of those who would like to share their journey of recovery therefore please get in contact if you wish to participate in our show.
We are on air every Wednesday from 3-4pm at 98.4 Pulse FM or you can listen online or on catch up at www.pulseonair.co.uk.
