Erskine has been looking after our veterans for 100 years and today remains committed to caring for Scotland's ex-Service men and women for as long as the need is there. Erskine cares for around 1000 veterans and their spouses each year who have served their country with honour. We provide unrivalled nursing, residential, respite and dementia care in our homes throughout Scotland for UK veterans. We not only care for our veterans – we care about them. In this centenary year, donations are vitally important to Erskine because we must raise £8.8 million to continue to provide the high standard of care our brave veterans so richly deserve.
“I have pieces of shrapnel stuck in my leg which cause a lot of pain so I am very grateful to be at Erskine to get the care I need and to be surrounded by friends”
Douglas Cameron, ex-Royal Artillery and veteran of the India and Burma Campaigns of World War 2.
This year we have several opportunities to raise funds and provide our supporters with exciting new challenges. From Abseils to Zipslides, whatever your fitness level, we have an event for you! All we ask is a registration fee to secure your place, and for you to be able to raise a minimum sponsorship for each challenge. If you are organising your own fundraising event for Erskine, please tell us about it so we can support you every step of the way. Every donation we receive makes a massive difference to the lives of our veterans and allow us to be able to care for Douglas and other veterans who gave so much in the service of their country.
