Any business willing to take on a 16 - 19 year old Business and Admin modern apprentice and supervise their progress, will be offered the funded training programme. This will allow the young person to obtain the nationally recognised SVQ Level 3 accreditation.
The modern apprentice will complete three core units and five additional units that will be chosen to suit the needs of the business. The young person will work a minimum of 20 hours per week, learning on the job while working towards their qualification. The council’s workER team will ensure both the business and modern apprentice are supported throughout the duration.
The council is currently recruiting for a bank of young people who are interested in working in the Business Administration sector with a view to starting in September.
If you are young person who is interested in the Business and Administration Modern Apprenticeship, please send your CV to worker@eastrenfrewshire.gov.uk, quoting the reference WER092. Businesses who are looking to create vacancies should contact the business liaison team at workER on 0141 577 3328.
