Copies of the documents are available to view in Busby and Clarkston libraries, in the council’s offices at Spiersbridge and Eastwood Park and on the council’s website.
In addition all properties along roads affected by the proposals have been sent a copy of the Notice to let the owners and occupiers know where they can find out what is planned. Residents have until 14 April to make their views known.
The main change is that along Busby Road you will be allowed to park for a maximum of 90 minutes during the day but restrictions will remain during the morning and evening peaks to ensure easier traffic flow.
On Mearns Road, Benview Road, and Eaglesham Road the maximum time you can park will go up from 60 minutes to 90 minutes. Double yellow lines will also be put at the junction of Aidan’s Brae/Mearns Road and Eastwoodmains Road/Golf Road.
The formal consultation follows the successful survey held last summer and the council is grateful to all who took time to make their views known.
Now in its 30th year, the show is the go-to exhibition for any self-builders or renovators looking for practical tips, expert advice, or the chance to view 1000s of products.
