The park boasts a variety of habitats and an extensive and accessible path network which covers over 6km and provides ample opportunities for walking, cycling and healthy walks.
There are large areas of woodland, expansive grasslands, 25 hectares of wildflower meadows and Perchy Pond.
Environmental education plays a key role here, with both formal and informal learning opportunities presented through a programme of events and activities.
Conservation volunteers meet weekly to carry out a range of conservation tasks to help enhance the Nature Park and surrounding sites.
Braedale Hill Local Nature Reserve is situated in Newmains to the north east of Wishaw, a real haven for birds, insects, and animals!
