About Giffnock Scout Hall
The 28th Glasgow (Giffnock ) Scout Group is one of the largest scout groups in Scotland and one of ten largest groups in the United Kingdom and has around 220 uniformed members.
The Group is based at the Scout Hall, Arthurlie Drive, Giffnock and is made up of:
2 Beaver Colonies. The meeting nights are Monday and Friday, from 18:30 - 19:30.
2 Cub Packs. The meeting nights are Tuesday and Wednesday, from 19:00 - 20:30.
1 Scout Troop. The Troop meets on a Thursday night, from 19:15 - 21:15.
1 Explorer Scout Unit. The Unit meets on a Monday night, from 19:30 - 20:30.
The sections cater for the following age ranges:
Beavers : Age 6 - 8.
Cubs : Age 8 - 10.5/11.
Scouts : Age 10.5/11 - 14.
Explorers : Age 14 - 18
