About Mindful Yoga Therapy

Wanting to learn gentle ways to look after your body?

Looking to engage in meditations to look after your mental health?

Why not combine the two and join Kay and Ravinder for this Mindful Yoga Therapy Session!

In this session we’ll be learning tools of yoga therapy, utilising pressure points, and embracing very gentle movements, alongside practicing variations of mindful meditations for this 2.5-hour session.

As we’ll be doing a little pair work, this session is just for the ladies, to make sure everyone feels comfortable working alongside one another!

What to expect?
• We’ll introduce mindfulness and yoga
• Embrace our bodies with a mindfulness body scan meditation
• Immerse into gentle yoga therapy, listening to the body’s wisdom
• A sitting breath meditation to focus the mind, body and being
• Meeting like-minded people and sharing a morning of wellness!

FAQs
Why is this event free? (other than booking free)
This workshop is part of the Knows No Bounds social enterprise initiative and runs on a Pay It Forward System.

That means:

Your place has been paid for by someone who’s taking part in a previous workshop

To book your place, all you need to pay is a small booking fee

There’s an opportunity for you to donate money on the day in cash into a donation box

This is to ‘pay it forward’ to someone else - give them the opportunity to take part in future

This will allow the event to go to other areas and spread this further and wider

The amount is up to you – please pay what you can, and what you are able to.

A recommended amount is £15.00, but for guidance only

Do I need to be flexible or have experience of yoga to attend?
Absolutely not! Everyone welcome, including beginners!

What are my transport/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Details of the venue and transport will be given by email once you book, prior to the event.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Mindful Yoga Therapy are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
