The Oasis Community Cafe at Thornliebank Parish Church is open to everyone offering support, help and a safe place, as well as food and friendship!
About Oasis Community Cafe
Sorry, but this event has been and gone!
The Oasis Community Café is open to everyone and we meet on the 1st & 3rd Thursday of every month, and we are offering free soup & sandwiches, (starting on Thursday 2nd May 2019 from 6.00pm to 8.00pm).
There will be an opportunity to receive help with completing forms such as Housing, Social Care and Benefit forms, and our Digital Technology Project can provide support in the use of technology such as laptop and tablet computers and smart phones.
We will have board games available should you fancy a game of draughts or dominoes etc, and if you just want a chat with someone, there will be people there to listen and help you.
A number of our folk have lived through difficulties and will understand what you may be going through, and they will listen without being judgemental.
So if you feel you are on your own and finding life a struggle, then come along and we will be there for you.
There will be an opportunity to ask for prayer for any situation you're finding difficult.
Oasis Community Café is a place where we aim to offer friendship, support, help and a safe place, as well as food and friendship.
So come along and we promise you will be made welcome.
While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Oasis Community Cafe are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
