To commemorate 100 years since the end of WW1 MJ’s Brasserie presents an Evening of Remembrance.

Join us for a wonderful 3 course meal and hear Alison Anderson MBE tell the wonderful story of Finding The lost Battalions of WW1 Fromelles Northern France.

The Battle of Fromelles took place on July 19th – 20th 1916 and saw Australian and British Battalions fighting side by side.

Many of those killed (over 2000) could not be accounted for at the time.

Alison was seconded to the Fromelles Project in 2009 and, working alongside the Commonwealth War Graves Commission, took on the mammoth task of recovering these soldiers from mass graves and endeavouring to give them back their identity.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Finding The Lost Battalions of WW1 - Poppy Scotland Fundraising Dinner are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
