The National Library of Scotland’s touring display ‘Going to the Pictures’ is currently travelling around East Renfrewshire Libraries. This display tells the story of Scotland’s memories of cinema through the printed and moving image collections of the National Library of Scotland.

To celebrate we are running a screening of local filmmaker Tom Marchant’s Nights at the Pictures: the story of cinema in Scotland.

After the movie, you can stay to explore the exhibition and examine the objects in the ‘Projectionist’s Case’ handling box.

Tea, coffee and popcorn provided!
Free, but booking essential. For tickets book online at www.eastwoodparktheatre.co.uk/boxoffice or 0141 577 4956 or in person at either Eastwood Park Box office or Giffnock Library.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Nights at the Pictures are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
