Nights at the Pictures

About Nights at the Pictures

The National Library of Scotland have brought their fabulous touring display ‘Going to the Pictures’ to Barrhead Foundry Library where it will stay for the month of June before moving to other locations.

To celebrate we are running a special screening of local filmmaker Tom Marchant’s 'Night at the Pictures: the story of cinema in Scotland'

After the movie, you can stay to explore the exhibition and examine the objects in the ‘Projectionist’s Case’ handling box.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Nights at the Pictures are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
