Morgan started running as a kid, through the cornfields around her home rural Pennsylvania, running her first marathon age 19 and first ultra marathon at 20. Morgan quickly found a love and success in ultra running. On moving to Scotland she joined Fife AC and trained with coach Ron Morrison who helped her achieve a Scotland vest in cross country. Her love continues to be in ultra running and Morgan wore her 1st Scottish vest in ultra running in the Anglo Celtic plate 100k in 2017.
Morgan's running achievements include1st Female John Lucas Memorial Strathaven Striders 50m Race 2015, 1st female Cateran Trail double 110m 2016, 1st female Templeton 10m 2011 and 2016, 2nd Female/5th overall West Highland Way 2016 (18 hours 8 minutes), 2nd Female Highland Fling Race 2017 (8 hrs 37 minutes) & 1st female Perth Tay 10m 2017.
Morgan trained with the Independent Yoga Network in 2011 and in 2015 completed a 500 hour training in mindfulness and yoga for back pain through BodhiYoga.
Morgan lives in Dundee where she teaches a variety of classes from kids yoga to 'yoga for amputees’ as well as weekly classes for runners at Run4It Dundee.
Morgan's passion lies in yoga for runners where she can apply her knowledge of anatomy, breathing and mindful movement to helping runners be faster, stronger and happier in their sport!
In this Masterclass participants will benefit from Morgan's experience and knowledge through the Yoga for Runners flow as well as have the opportunity for Q & As.
