About Mearns Horticultural Society Annual Spring Flower Show

The Mearns Horticultural Society 72nd Annual Spring Show, open to members and non-members, is to be held in the Eglinton Suite in Eastwood House – the Victorian Mansion formerly owned by Lord Weir – and situated in Eastwood Park.

A competition schedule can be obtained from the MHA treasurer. This year the winner of each class will receive a £5 cash prize with 4 annual trophies to be awarded. Provost Jim Fletcher will present the prizes. Remember that you can submit as many entries as you want in each class and there is no entry fee. Whilst judging is taking place we are going to have a Mearns Gardener’s Question Time so be ready with your gardening questions.

The venue will be open at 6.30pm to allow the staging of entries by 7.45pm and the judging and Question Time will start at 7.45pm.

While we take every opportunity to ensure the details for Mearns Horticultural Society Annual Spring Flower Show are accurate, we always advise that you contact the event organiser before setting out for the event to avoid disapointment.
